TELUS x World Juniors Hockey

TELUS #EndBullying is a program that aims to educate youth and parents on the importance
of being a good digital citizen—whether it’s for yourself or for someone who needs help.
During the 2018/19 World Juniors tournament, Maxime Comtois was bullied online after missing a penalty shot in the quarter finals against Finland. Instead of staying silent against his attackers, Max stood up to bullying, releasing an inspirational message to young hockey players and fans alike. TELUS wanted to help amplify it on the world stage.

During the tournament TELUS purchased live SMM digital boards en route to the arenas, in the host country of Czech Republic, to display live tweets of Canadian’s support from home. The boards were also open to all fans of all the countries in the tournament. Making it a support board for all.
